Someone stoll my pot

Well my planting pots that is. I was woken up this morning by Steve telling my name and I heard him say something was stolen.
This is what I saw when I got outside.

That's right. They kindly took out my plants and placed them on the ground before they took off with my pots. These people were not too smart since one of my neighbors saw them running across my yard with the pots, followed them to where they live and got their license plate number. They live just down the street from me. So we called the police. He took our statement, the statement of our neighbor and spoke a few people who live near the house of my pot stealer's, and it sounds like like these guys are no good. They are always pulling up to the house with misc stuff, and have a lot of short lived traffic. I am really annoyed with the whole thing. What do they plan to do with them? It is not like they can pawn them? and by the looks of how they keep up their yard, they are not going to plant any plants in them.

Jam

Yesterday the 3 of us made Strawberry Jam. Well actually I did all the work, Charlotte supervised and steve took over stirring when my arm got tired. It has been years since I had made homemade jam so I was really looking forward to doing it,and it turned out great.

Movie

Today Charlotte and I were invited to go see the movie Night at the Museum with some friends. I was excited to get out see a movie, since it has been a very long time since I have done so, but I was nervous about taking a 3 month old to the movies. I did not want to be that person with the screaming baby. Well...I wasn't. Charlotte was a dream. She did not make a peep and slept for about 45 minutes during the movie.
Could she be more perfect?

Spring had Sprung.....

....then it snowed

Awkward

Steve being the best guy ever got me Merry Maids to help me out around the house. They just got here and it is so awkward feeling. As I sit here on my butt blogging and watching American Next Top Model, I have 2 strangers in my home who are going to clean every room. Of course I had to pick up my house so they did not come over and think we are total slobs.I feel like I should be upstairs with them helping out, but like Steve says " we are paying them good money, so just sit on your butt and relax".

This is going to be a long 2 hours for me. Plus I am hungry, but I do not want to make myself lunch while they are here.

Finally !!!

Steve and I are back in the same bed. We had been in separate beds going on 3 weeks and I was missing him.
Week 1 he was sick, and since I was still pregnant I chose to sleep in the guest room so I would have less of a chance of getting sick.
Week 2 I had had Charlotte and spent 2 days in the hospital and the remainder of week 2 into week 3 Charlotte and I shared a bed while Steve slept in the guest room.

Saturday Steve went and bought me a baby monitor so that Charlotte could sleep in her room, and I would have some piece of mind not having her near me in the night and worrying about her. The best thing about this monitor is I can watch her. In her room there is a little camera attached to the monitor, and on the handheld there is a screen and I can watch her. I love it. I can have the screen on or off, but the sound is always on. Charlotte is a dreamer, and I always talking in her sleep. the monitor is great since every time she makes a sound a I do not have to get up and check on her. I just click my screen on and she what she is doing. The first night I do not think I slept at all. I kept watching the monitor so I could constantly see her and what she was doing. It has gotten easier every night, but I am still constantly checking in on her....I just do not have to go into her room.

She has done so well sleeping in her room. She is such a big girl already.

What was he thinking?

Last week Steve and I borrowed the Corolla out to a friend. Steve calls me this afternoon asking if we have an extra key. Why? This friend dropped off the car last night, parked it on the side of the house (RV Parking) and locked the key inside. We both had no idea he had done this. We rarely go to the side of the house in the winter. The Corolla could have sat there for a week before we would have noticed it. Good thing he called to tell us he dropped it off. It is just me or does that seem strange. Throw the key over the fence onto the back patio, place it in the mailbox, or under the doormat,or a rock, but locking the key in the car when you are unsure if we even have a extra key. Another thing that baffles me is that why did he not call last night and let us know what he was doing? and if he did call (he always calls Steve's cell) and we did not answer, just wait until the next day drop it off so we know what is going on.
I really hope we have a extra key at the house. If not, I am really going to be ticked if I have to shell out $50 or someone come out and pop the lock.

*** Update: We had an extra key.
