Oh, how we love to visit the Aviary. It is shaded, not crowded, adn a bit relaxing. I love that there is so much open space for the kids to run around and get their wiggles out. We attended the bird show, and got a little bird education. The kids really enjoys feeding the birds and ducks. Corbin was fairly content with a long stick and playing in the dirt.

Staycation day 2
Day 2 started with great breakfast at the hotel as it was included in out package. Next was the Treehouse Musuem. This place is amazing. 2 levels of hundreds of interactive things for the kids to do. We were there for roughly 4hrs. Next, it was nap time for Corbin. Steve and Charlotte went walking around, got a donut and payed video games. Again time for food and lots of swiming.
I love the idea of a staycation. You can get far enough away from home but can get back quickly. Charlotte is always asking about "going to a hotel" agian.

Staycation Day 1
This summer we decided to do a small "Staycation". We ended up in Downtown Ogden, UT. They have really made a huge improvment of the area. Everything is within walking distance. We arrived about 5pm on Friday evening. Checked in, made sure the pool was upto Charlottes standards. Dinner was definelty on everyones mind. Once we ate dinner, we walked the Temple gorunds. THe LDS church built a brand new temple a block away about 1yr ago. It was the perfect pleace to walk after dinner and let the kids stretch their legs.
