Where do I start. What a weekend. So I knew nothing of this surprise. I was getting ready for work on Friday, when Steve showed back up at the house. He had already left for work so I was curious as to what he was doing back. Well he told to start packing, we are going out of town. I did not know where we were going until we got to the ticket counter, I did not know where we were staying in Vegas until we got there. I knew nothing. Everyday was surprise. It was great.
We stayed in the Bellagio Suite for 3 nights.

Friday night we ate at Olives in the Bellagio. Below is a picture of the dessert they gave me. Happy Birthday is written in chocolate, and truffles were delicious. After dinner we took a walk. Steve mentioned that he was little tired and wanted to go back to the room. He let me go in the room first. The lights were dim, there was music playing. One the table were Chocolate covered strawberries with Champagne and rose petals were all over the floor and on the bed.

Saturday morning we went to the Mirage Breakfast Buffet. It is a little pricey, but it is great. The rest of the afternoon, we walked around. That evening Steve surprised me with tickets to see "O". The entire show in done in a pool of water. It was amazing. We were 3rd row center, also know as the "Wet Zone"
Sunday Morning, We ordered Breakfast in. WE splurged a little. You only turn 30 once, so we did it. After breakfast we relaxed a little more and then got ready for the big day.

A helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon. It was a 45 minute flight from Las Vegas, over the Hover Dam and into the Grand Canyon. You do not realize how huge it is until you see another helicopter and it looks like a toy. Half way through the tour we landed in the canyon for a champagne lunch. It was a wonderful day. We both had such a great time.

Someone from New Zealand took the picture above. He obvoiusly does not know what he is doing.

It was a fantastic birthday. One I will never forget.
