60th Birthday / Part 1

She's 60 !

To celebrate we had a birthday weekend. To kick it off we held a surprise birthday Dinner at Market Street Grill. She seemed surprised . She kept trying to talk Bob out of going out to dinner . She simply wanted to stay home. 

It turned out to be a excellent dinner, except for the fact that they do not have ravioli on the menu anymore and I had to eat fish.

I am so lucky to have family and friends that plan on this event every year and make it such great experience.

Mothers Day 2012

What better way to end a mothers day than spending time with my mom, and my little lady.

Girls and their high heels

As I walked in to Charlotte's school last night to pick her up at the end of the day her teacher says  

" She's got a bad scratch on her face". 

Yikes ! My poor baby.

 Apparently her and another girl wanted the same pair of dress up heels. When Charlotte would not give them up ,the other girl reached over and scratched Charlotte's face.  Her teacher then cleaned Charlottes face and had her place some ice on it. Also the girls had to put all the dress up shoes in time out, and they were not happy about having to do that. So, no dress up shoes till next week.

Or should I say, I survived it. Charlotte is potty trained. I honestly thought that I was going to lose my mind. The reason being she knew what she was doing. She used to potty at school. It was when she got home that she did not want to use it.  It all came down to her being to busy. She was just to busy playing, or watching a move to stop and go use the toilet.  Silly as it may be the Sticker Chart saved my sanity. She was trilled when she used the potty and was able to put stickers on the chart. She started going and sitting on the toilet just so she could use the stickers. After a week she was trained and we have not looked back.  She wears a pull-up at night,75% of the time she wakes up dry. Now she is all about the Princess underwear, sometimes wearing 2-3 pair at the same time.

 Officially a big girl now.
