Disneyland ~ Getting there and Day 1

So, we were a lot secritve about this vacation. Charlotte knew nothing about it. The evening before we left the kids stayed at Miss Doys. This gave me a chance to get eveything packed and the hosue picked up before we left. Roughly about noon the next day the shuttle picked steve and I up. We were able to get the airport, get all the bags checked in while the kids were heading over.
The look on Charlottes face was rpicless when I opened the door. You could see a bit of confusison on her face. Once I told her we were going to Disneyland for her birthday she was over the moon.
The time waiting at the airport was longer than the actul flight.
I had planned this day to be a day of travel. Once we arrived at the irport our shuttle took us to our hotel. Once settled we walked about Downtown Disney, got a bite to eat then it was time to settle for the night are we were heading into the park early the next morning.

Nash Minivan

Out with the old and in with the new. i wont lie, i was a bit sad to see the red chicco stroller go. we have had this stroller since charlotte was a newborn, and we have a lot of memories which include this stroller. However, with the uncoming trip to Disneyland we needed something that was easy to use and could haul both kids.

Here is our new minivan as i like to call it. Our new sit n' stand stroller.

The other day we took the minivan out on a test drive and it was definitely kid approved.

Corbin 16 Months

This little guy is such a joy. He honestly is always happy. So easy tempered and loving. He is finally sleeping through the night. I had forgotten what it felt like to have 5+ hours on uninterrupted sleep. There is an occasional night here and there where he wakes, but I am able to get him back to sleep quickly.  He is best friends with Leo the cat.  He can be found lying on the cat and the cat actually enjoys it. When corbin is being nursed, Leo jumps right up and snuggles up to corbins back and rest his head on his shoulder.

16 month Well Check

I was a little late on getting Corbin in the see the pediatrician. And, with Disneyland on the horizon I wanted to make sure both kids were up to date on their immunizations. Corbin always does so well that the Dr, and they are even impressed at how well he does. When looking at his ears Dr Montgomerie noticed a small amount of fluid behind the eardrum. Corbin has not been fussy, but we decided to still treat it with Amoxacilian. He also had to have 3 shots which were part of his 12M checkup that I chose to hold off on.
Other than that he is in perfect health
