Maryland ~ Day 6
Day 6 was a day to spend time together and remines.
Steve and Charlotte took a drive to Arundel Mills where they lunched and bplayed games at
Dave and Busters.
That is 500 tickets she is holding . This girl loves to play games for tickets.
She then ran across this. Steve and Charlotte will occasionaly go to the mall near the house and play this game in the arcade. This game at Dave and Busters is 10 times the size she usually plays
Once they got home, Steve was finally able to make it out to the FishHead Cantina and meet up with some old friends.
Charlotte went with Grandma and Grandpa to the movies to see " How to Train your Dragon 2".

Sleep Over
After the ball game Corbin was off to his first sleep over at Aunt Joys.
I honestly had forgotten all what a task it is to get something like this set up for a baby. ie....pack n play, stroller, car seat, all the baby essentials like clothes toys, diapers, food. It was an undertaking.
After getting up 3 times in the not he was up about 0715. Corbi and Joy took Copper for a walk where Corbin fell back asleep.
And, who needs toys when you have plastic spoons an Tupperware.
Here is Corbi waiting for Joy as she gets ready for church.
Corbin swooning the ladies in relief society.
Church will do this to anyone. No matter the age.
I cam and picked up Corbin roughly at 1700. He of course was happy to see. I was not allowed to get to far from him. He made sure he could see me at all times. He certainly got worn out. He fell Aleppo on the was home and was down for the night.

Maryland ~ Day 4 ~ Arlington Family Reunion
The Arlington Family Reunion. Even though we live 2200 miles away. Every year we get an invitation to attend. And., it just so happens that Steve and Charlotte's vacation was planned the same weekend as the reunion.
While driving to a family reunion out here in Utah I got a call from Steve. Charlotte was very upset. At one point her thought that she mat have broken her arm simply by the way she was crying. She became very upset because she did not win a prize.
Uncle Robert won twice, Steve won too. She believes everyone should win. So, when that doesn't happen she becomes upset.
The good news is that later on during the reunion a prize was one.
She won the prize for the Furthest Traveled. During the phone call I felt a bit helpless. I just wanted to give her a hug and let her know that it was going to be okay. She has such a tender soul and large heart. That when she gets upset, she is almost inconsolable.
Later in the day visits were made to some family gavesits. And, of course....the playgound.

Ball Game
While Steve and Charlotte were in Maryland. Capital Lumber held a summer party at a Bees Game. And, since tickets were still offered to me I went , along with Joy and Corbi.
It was a perfect night. It started out a little warm but ended perfectly. After landing a fantastic parking spot we headed in to were we had great seats off first base. Corbi watched a little bit of the game but was more interested the snow come we had.
If looks could kill.
It also was a night for fireworks at the game. This was Corbin first time experiencing fireworks. He was awesome. I thought maybe he would be a little scared or cry some. Nope !.
Once I held him his was under their spell and watched them intensely.

Maryland ~ Day 3~ Inner Harbor
As I was told, Day 3 started out at 0830 with our own little miss Katness shooting a toy bow and arrow in the backyard. This lasted for hours. Later it was off the the aquarioum and inner harbor. Charlotte of course was very excited to be off on another adventure with day.
First stop~ the aquarium
( seen in the background)
She loved it, and went back to thourght to see several of her favorite exhibits. After they had left she wanted to go back over and go though ot again.
After the aquarium was a paddle boat. It lasted about 10 minutes. It is hot, and she bacame very tired.
Nothing a heartly helping of chicken nuggets cant fix " Super Powers Activte". All the way to the east coast for chicken nuggest. Poor steve. He really wanted to enjoy some fresh seafood. Sorry, Johnny Rockets for the win.
Following lunch was some shopping. On of her favorite things.
and tonight.......CRABS
Steve has been looking forward to this for a long long time.
Charlotte was a little reluctae to try. But, she usually is when it comes to trying new foods. Aunt Beth was a big help, and was craking shells and getting the meat for her. Charlotte had a blast tonight with her family.

Baby Steps
As the days pass it seems I can leave Corbin alone for less and less time.
Friday evening I went upstairs quickly to wash my face. The bathroom the first door when you get to the top of the satirs, so it seemed like no big deal. As I am washing my face I can here Corbins hands hitting the steps. Nothing new, he does this all the time. In all honeslt I thought that he may crawl up one or two steps........not 6. I dried off my face and looked out into the hallway just in time to see his hand hit the top step. In a panic I ran and picked him up.
He was so proud, and I am just about had a heartattack.
So, it seems another baby gate needs to be put up.

Maryland ~Day 2 ~ Ocean City
Day 2
Steve and Charlotte made their way out to Ocean City. This is one thing that Steve really wanted to do for Charlotte. She had never been to the ocean before. It was a good 2.5 drive to get there. But, once they got settled in they hit the water. After a small lesson on how to "Jumpw with the waves" she was a pro. And in trur charlotte fasion....she made herself a friend in a matter of minutes.
After swimming in the ocean it was time for boardwalk games, ferris wheel rides, lunch , and a little shopping.
Seems to me that she had an amazing time. I sure do miss my little lady. And, steve too.
