Fun at the State Fair

Saturday afternoon Steve, myself, Charlotte, my mom, Bob and Lexi all went out to enjoy the state fair. We all had such a great time. The fair was soooo much better this year than last. I hope to make it a family tradition.

Steve and Lexi had each other to go on the rides with. I am no good on these rides. If I would have gone on them, I would have had to spend the rest of the afternoon lying down on the car.



Charlotte was so curious about all the animals. She just stared at them and her eyes followed them where ever they went. She was trying to grab them which would not have been good if she had gotten a hold.


This goat was so funny. He was looking all over the place, but the moment Steve put the camera in picture taking position the goat posed. Silly goat.

By the end of the day Charlotte was exhausted. She was such a trooper.

Welcome Baby

We have a new member of the family. Brayden Monte Huff was born Sept 9, 2009 at 9:00am. He is darling. Lots of blonde wavy hair, and from what I am told brown eyes. He weighs in at 8lbs 4oz and is 21 inches long. Brayden and Amy are doing well.

What a difference 6 months makes. It is hard to believe that Charlotte was smaller than Brayden at the time she was born.

Where have the last 6 months gone. It is hard to believe that Charlotte has already reached the 6 month milestone. She continues to grow and learn everyday.

She is learning to sit up on her own, and is now using a highchair when at a resturant. Which at times can be difficult becuase she wants what you have and nothing you put in front of her takes her focus off of that.




Everything goes in the mouth. No matter what it is...in it goes. Her new thing this week is throwing small tantrums. If you take away something that she wants, but can not have...watch out!




She has an infectious smile. No matter what kind of day we are haivng or how we are feeling. She manages to always smile which quickly changes to mood.




We are so lucky to have Charlotte. She is just the best baby. These have been the best 6 months, and we are looking forward to future.

Silly Pup

I am not sure what it is about Millie the Charlotte finds hilarious, but Charlotte just loves her. When ever Millie come near her she giggles and wiggles.

Lets Bounce

Today Charlotte got a Jumper...I honestly could not take it anymore. She is all over the place. I was once able to lie her on the ground with her toys and not have to worry that she would leave the "safety zone", but that is not the case anymore. She seems to like it so far, but I am sure she will start to like it more once she learns that the seat turns, and the buttons play music when you play them. I really hope that this gets some of her energy out.
