Friday, Charlotte stayed home from school. I had just gotten ready when I went into her room to wake her, and get her going. When i realized something was wrong. Take a look at her eye. It is swollen, pink and purple.
After I calmed myself down I got on the phone with her Dr. and we were in his office by 9am.
Thank goodness she did not have pink eye. In fact, we were never able to decided what was wrong. There were no obvious signs pointing to this being an infection, and there were no obvious signs pointing to the fact that it was not. So, she was given an antibiotic eye drop. Have you ever tried giving a toddler eye drops? It is nearly impossible.
From the picrure you can tell she is really bothered by it.
After the Dr's we went to my office to tie up a few loose ends, and grab some things for me to work on from home. She was a huge help in the office. Coloring and eating all our Swedish fish. She must think work is pretty great if that is what she would get to do all day.
